The anti-fraud analysis of income documentation is a process through which the authenticity of the income documentation presented by a person or a company is verified. This verification is carried out in order to prevent or detect fraud or the attempt to obtain an undue advantage through the presentation of false or falsified documents. The anti-fraud analysis of income documentation can be performed by various professional figures, such as analysts, employees in the Application Management of banking and insurance companies, internal or external auditors, financial investigators or lawyers specialized in commercial and criminal law. During the analysis, submitted income documents, such as tax returns, payment receipts, invoices and bank statements are examined in order to verify their authenticity and completeness.
This course will provide the basic elements for recognizing alterations and/or forgery in income documentation.
