This verification is performed in order to prevent or detect fraud or an attempt to obtain an undue advantage through the submission of false or forged documents. The anti-fraud analysis of income documentation can be performed by various professionals, such as analysts, application management personnel of banking and insurance companies, internal or external auditors, financial investigators or lawyers specialising in commercial and criminal law.
